Tesla Companion is a personal integration intended for the account owner’s vehicles. Vehicle data and Tesla tokens are processed by the locally installed app and MCP backend. Tokens and cached vehicle state are encrypted in local storage. Dot may receive vehicle status when the owner connects the MCP server.
This public site hosts the application public key and a sign-in callback page. The callback page does not use analytics, external scripts, cookies or application storage. The authorization code appears in the browser address for the owner to return to the local app. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process network request metadata.
Remove local tokens with the desktop app’s Disconnect control. Revoke the application’s access through your Tesla account to remove its Tesla permissions. The integration does not sell data or share it for advertising.
